E. Smith Contractors: Key Players in Micron's New York Office Development

Have you heard? Micron’s coming to New York, and here’s how E. Smith Contractors is helping. In 2022, Micron announced their plan to invest up to 100 billion dollars in the creation of the United States' largest-ever domestic semiconductor fabrication facility. This job, which is set to be built in Clay, NY, is located 10 minutes outside of Syracuse and is said to create up to 50,000 new jobs in New York.

E. Smith Contractors is proud to serve as the general contractor for the new Micron office located in the One Lincoln Center building in downtown Syracuse. Our team will be constructing the Welcome Center on the first floor, designed to greet visitors and clients with a warm and professional atmosphere. Additionally, we will be building state-of-the-art offices on the 8th floor, providing a modern and efficient workspace for Micron's operations. This project marks the first step in establishing Micron's presence in Upstate New York, and we are honored to be a part of this significant development.
